Workshop on Fundamentals of Electronics
Most people learn electronics from a textbook and never build circuits. In this live online workshop on Sunday, 29 November 2026, you will build circuits with your own hands and watch electricity come alive on an oscilloscope.
- A starter components kit is shipped to your address, so you build along with us step by step.
- Build an automatic night light, a slow dimming LED and an OR gate yourself
- Watch live oscilloscope demonstrations of a capacitor discharge curve and a half wave rectifier with a filter

With your shipped kit:
- An automatic night light using an LDR, which switches on in the dark and off in the light
- A slow dimming LED powered by a capacitor releasing its stored energy
- An OR gate, to see how digital logic works
Watch on screen:
- The capacitor's discharge curve plotted on an oscilloscope
- A half wave rectifier with a filter, shown on the oscilloscope
The oscilloscope is not included in the shipped kit. These demonstrations are performed by the instructor while you watch, so you can see what is happening inside the circuits you build.
Along the way you will understand voltage, current, resistance, capacitance and semiconductors by building circuits, not by memorising concepts.

Shipping: Delivery within India only. Please enter your full address, phone number and age group at checkout and double check them.
Refunds and rescheduling: Because a physical kit is prepared and shipped for every participant, fees are not refundable. If your kit is lost in transit or arrives damaged before the session, we will reschedule the session, with the new date decided by the convenience of the majority. Please read our refund policy.
- Registration: Your seat is confirmed once payment is successful. The joining link and all details are sent by email, so please enter your email and phone number correctly.
- What is included: Participants build the LDR light, the capacitor and LED circuit and the OR gate with the shipped kit. The oscilloscope activities are live demonstrations by the instructor and are not built by participants. No oscilloscope or multimeter is included in the kit.
- Age: We collect your age group at registration. Participants under 18 should join with parent or guardian supervision.
- Shipping: Kits ship within India only to the address given at checkout. We are not responsible for delays or non-delivery caused by an incorrect address. Registration closes 20 November 2026 and dispatch is planned for 22 November 2026.
- Refunds: As a kit is prepared and shipped for every participant, fees are not refundable. See https://orcarobotics.in/refund-policy.html
- Lost or damaged kits and rescheduling: If your kit is lost in transit or arrives damaged before the session, contact support@orcarobotics.in or 8147013284 and we will reschedule the session. The new date will be decided as per the convenience of the majority and shared by email.
- Safety: The kit uses a 9V battery only. Do not connect components to mains electricity. Parents or guardians should supervise younger participants. Small parts are a choking hazard.
- Recordings and content: The session may be recorded by us. Do not record, copy or share the session or materials without permission. All content belongs to Orca Robotics.
- Privacy: We collect your name, email, phone, address and age group only to run the workshop, ship your kit and share updates. We do not sell your data. Payments are processed by Razorpay.
- Liability: This workshop is for educational purposes. Orca Robotics is not liable for loss or damage from using the components outside the given instructions.
